Winemaker Notes
The fruit for this Ros of Pinot Noir comes from the cool hillsides of the Sonoma Coast. Grapes are handpicked at night and delivered to the winery at very low temperatures. This wine is a combination of saigne juice and hand-sorted Pinot Noir clusters that are pressed and carefully transferred to neutral barrels or stainless-steel tanks to start very cold fermentation. The result is a crisp, savory ros with intense and complex aromatics.
Contained within shades of salmon and coral, this beautiful ros of Pinot Noir exudes notes of macerated strawberry, ruby grapefruit, and crushed white flowers. On the palate, flavors of red raspberry, watermelon, and orange peel with a hint of crisp white peach dance on the glass before a lively, unmistakably fresh finish.
