Dark ruby color. The typically small, thick-skinned berries and clusters held up incredibly well in the fermenters and have added to the intensity of the perfume. The aromas are deeply floral with cherry and briary red fruit, tea leaf, orange peel and—as is common from Harmony—grounding, granitic, warm soil. This is an incredibly elegant wine due to the light touch during extraction, however still sappy, pure, and energetic in flavor. The textures layer across the mid-palate while the finish is where we fully recognize the fruit’s provenance—bright acidity, subtle tannins and alluring complexity that goes on and on.
