Menzies Estate Vineyard is in the heart of Coonawarra wine country. The defining terroir comes from the unique ‘terra rossa’ soils; red sandy loam over limestone, perfect conditions for growing full-bodied, concentrated red wines.

A classic full-bodied expression of Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon, The Menzies has all the hallmarks of a great Cabernet wine: intense varietal expression of berries and sea spray, held together by taut grape and oak tannin.

Dark cherry red with a crimson hue. Elegant and inviting aromas of cedar and chocolate combine beautifully with rich, ripe cassis and violets. Sublime tannins give the drinker an insight into the agebility of this wine.

Excellent drinking now and it will continue to evolve and delight.
